Captain Brandon Blackwelder placed 2nd in the State Tournament. Battalion Chief Taylor Beverly placed 6th. Captain Kyle Franklin placed 7th. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL for a Job Well Done! 
CHSFA Competition Team
The competitors and Judges at the close of the competition On Thursday March 31st, three members of the Concord HS Fire Academy competed in the 47th Annual Skills USA North Carolina State Tournament held at the Greensboro Collesium. The CHS Fire Academy was represented by: Battalion Chief Taylor Beverly, Captain Brandon Blackwelder, and Captain Kyle Franklin. There was a total of 15 contestants. Greensboro Engine 14 crew assisted as Judges along with Fayetteville Battalion Chief David Hargis and Fred Curley of E.E. Smith Fire Academy in Fayetteville, NC. Chief David Barlow served as the Coordinator of the competition.
